News... Empire State of Mind for Ceramic Artist
JamFactory Ceramic Studio alumnus Susan Frost is currently on a 6-month residency in New York City. When she’s not experiencing art by the city’s great names like Warhol and Frank Stella, Frost can be found at the state-of-the-art ceramics studio BKLYN CLAY. The city’s Art Deco architecture as well as that of Frank Lloyd Wright are influences that have already infused Frost’s new work. Frost, who was included in JamFactory’s exhibition Materials Matter: A Bauhaus Legacy earlier this year, also participated in a research trip to the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Connecticut in August.
