Ceramics

Lily Trnovsky

Lily Trnovsky is a contemporary ceramicist living and working on Kaurna Country. Her practice explores giving tangible objects to the intangible and ubiquitous human experience. Through vessel forms and repetitive motifs, she provides a visual resting place for the abstract thought - creating what she calls ‘emotionally functional objects’.

“I’m ecstatic to be a part of JamFactory’s community and look forward to utilising the generous support of everyone in the studio to build upon my professional practice. Being granted the space, time and facilities to do this is an incredible opportunity.”

Jessie Croshaw

Jessie Croshaw is a self-taught ceramicist with a visual arts background, living and working in Tarntanya (Adelaide). Her work explores the complex experiences of human connections to objects and place. Jessie combines various art disciplines, often focused on using found and recycled materials. Her processes are driven by play to offset heaviness in life.

“To be given the time, space and facilities to experiment and learn is incredibly special. I am excited for the opportunity to develop my skills and artistic language further amongst the skilled community at JamFactory!”

Antoine Roille

Antoine Roille is a French-born Australian maker working between furniture and sculpture. Guided by tactile feedback and simple forms, his playful work celebrates the inherent beauty of materials and their enduring connection to millennia of human culture, gesture, and lived experience.

“JamFactory offers me the space to experiment with unfamiliar processes and materials, shaped by dialogue with the artists who form this community. By the end of the program, I aim to further develop my visual language and create a series of works that are both personal and relatable.”

Glass

Megan Wilkinson

Megan Wilkinson is an emerging glass artist exploring tension, transition, and the quiet negotiations between control and fluidity within the material. Working across glassblowing, kiln forming, and coldworking, they investigate dualities of strength and fragility through sculptural exhibition works, alongside refined functional objects produced under the name ‘Peggy Glass’.

“Through the Associate Program, I hope to deepen my technical confidence while expanding the conceptual scope of my practice. I’m excited to refine a sustainable production line alongside more ambitious sculptural work, and to learn how to balance experimentation with professional and commercial viability.”

Lily Morin

Lily Morin is a glass artist and designer whose work explores the intersection between art, design and utility. Embracing the contrast between the refined crafting techniques and raw, tactile surfaces, Lily combines traditional glass-making techniques with industrial materials.

“Being surrounded by, and learning from, the extraordinarily skilled artists across JamFactory’s studios is an absolute dream come true. As an Associate, I’m excited to learn through hands-on making, playful exploration, and experimentation with new materials as I continue to hone my skillset and develop my artistic voice.”

Ember Satyn

Ember Satyn is an emerging glass artist working on Kaurna Country. Her practice spans sculptural and functional works, exploring how colour, surface finish, and transparency shift perception. Using glass’s material qualities, Ember recontextualises familiar forms, inviting them to be re-perceived.

“Through the Associate Program, I’m excited to grow my skills through hands-on training and access to JamFactory’s facilities. This will give me the opportunity to experiment, refine techniques, and really push my practice forward.”
