The CUSP chair, available in both a dining and an occasional version, was developed during Cooper’s time as a JamFactory Associate. The chairs use traditional timber joinery techniques contrasted with high quality wool or leather upholstery.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Originally from the Central Coast of New South Wales, Rhys Cooper moved to Tasmania to study furniture and sculpture. After graduating in 2013 he relocated to Adelaide to undertake the two-year Associate training program in JamFactory’s Furniture Studio. His practice focuses on both exhibition pieces and production items.
