This workshop will guide you through the stages of spoon carving using axe work, knife work and hollowing out the bowl (that exciting part of the day when the spoon emerges). Learn about sourcing sustainable materials, the basics of traditional tool use, and how to safely turn a log of sustainably sourced native timber into your favourite wooden utensil.
Suitable for adults (16+). All skill levels welcome, no experience needed. All materials, tools and apron provided. Participants are required to wear covered shoes.
