JamFactory is a not-for-profit organisation that has been educating South Australian artists for more than 40 years. Please support South Australia's finest designers and craftspeople by making a donation to JamFactory.

JamFactory’s two year Associate Training Program provides high-level skills and business training for emerging artists, craftspeople and designers working in the areas of Ceramics, Glass, Furniture or Metal Design. Our subsidised studio spaces offer artists and designers the financial support and community environment to establish their careers.

JamFactory relies heavily on financial support from donors to cover the cost of each Associate position (currently $15,000 – $20,000 per Associate per annum), and to keep facilitating studio spaces in Adelaide and the Barossa Valley.

Medici Collective

In early 2015 JamFactory launched a dynamic new donor program enabling visionary patrons to collectively invest in and directly engage with the talented emerging artists and designers undertaking JamFactory’s acclaimed Associate training program.

Inspired by the vision, influence and support of the humanities displayed by the Medici family during the Renaissance, the Medici Collective enables a new generation of influencers, visionaries and leaders of change to have a greater impact and involvement in tomorrow.

JamFactory has been investing in tomorrow’s talent for over 40 years. Our success and the generous support of community and government has ensured JamFactory and the talent we nurture play a key role in the creative economy locally, nationally and internationally.

JamFactory’s two-year Associate training program is the most significant career development opportunity in Australia for emerging creative entrepreneurs working in ceramics, glass, furniture or metal design and attracts applicants from across the country and around the world.

Medici Collective Investment

The Medici Collective’s annual financial contribution will directly impact the delivery of our world class training program.

Annual investment of a $2,000 tax deductible donation will be acknowledged as a Medici Member. Annual investment of a $10,000 tax deductible donation or bequest will be acknowledged as a Medici Patron.

Medici Collective Benefits

The Medici Collective will have the rewarding experience of connecting with our passionate young Associates and the professional artists and designers who mentor them. The Medici will have privileged access to JamFactory’s studios and galleries and an association with like-minded individuals who share a desire to have greater emersion in the organisations they support.

Visionaries who invest in the Medici Collective will be acknowledged in print, on-line and prominently within the JamFactory buildings. The Medici will have significant opportunities to meet and engage with our Associates and learn of their progress throughout the year, and equally the Associates and Creative Directors will gain from the invaluable influence and involvement of the Medici Collective.

For more details about the Medici Collective please contact Nikki Hamdorf on (08) 8410 0727.

JamFactory would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the Medici Collective for their ongoing support.
