Indulge all your vices in one satisfying afternoon. Hosted by Adelaide chef Laura Cassai (runner up of MasterChef Australia 2014), this walking tour will reconnect you with some of the city’s top eating, drinking and retail gems.
Start at JamFactory Craft and Design, the home of creative entrepreneurs and artistic expression in the city’s West End, and meet legendary glass artist Nick Mount whose clients include a who’s who of the culinary and wine world.
Pop into Imprints Bookstore, a cultural cornerstone that is home to a huge collection of culinary books and much more.
Next stop is Shōbōsho for a quick yakitori snack, sip of sake and an umeshu spritz. The fun is far from over, with the southern hemisphere’s largest undercover produce market – Adelaide Central Market – the next destination. Here Mark Gleeson, food and tourism expert will guide you on a tour and introduce you to the market’s leading stallholders. Sample their wares with gusto before heading off to the final stop, the Tasting Australia Superette in Town Square.
A full afternoon of grazing, chatting, sipping and shopping, guests will be offered discounts on purchases made during the tour and at the Tasting Australia Superette.
