About Gallery

Critically acclaimed as one of the nation’s leading presenters of high quality Australian craft and design, JamFactory boasts two galleries and an atrium exhibition space. The Gallery programs present and promote Australian crafts people, particularly encouraging South Australian practitioners to exhibit alongside some of the nation’s leading artists. Audiences can see a diverse range of media and view works by emerging, established and internationally renowned crafts people.

Our audience is as varied as our artwork, with visitors ranging from the general public to students, private collectors, curators, writers, collecting institutions and artists. Each year over 70,000 local, national and international gallery visitors experience our gallery program.

The gallery is well placed to exhibit the work of a mixture of emerging and established designer-makers throughout the country and is based in an organisation  which leads the field in innovative contemporary craft and design training, research and development.
