My principal inspiration comes from the natural landscape around me, primarily the shapes and forms of plants and water. I am interested in natural forms that have movement and appear organic. The transformation of metal and the contrast of dynamic flow and static form is also a strong element of my work. Recently I have been abstracting these ideas into line and shape, creating forms that flow over and around the body.
The materials I use are Silver and Titanium. I use the contrast that is created between the high polish of the Silver and the matt grey or coloured surface of the Titanium as a feature in my work.
