The 2 year design associate program allows a constant source of fresh new ideas from a dedicated team of professionals to design, produce and manufacture specialised commissions. With diverse backgrounds the designer/makers specialise in areas such as; jewellery design & making, metal smithing, graphic design, cad/cam, welding and machining.

JamFactory’s Metal Design Studio is able to work in collaboration with the Glass, Furniture and Ceramic departments and offers a complete project package, from design to delivery. Working to a design brief the studio begins with concept sketches, develops this to a model or prototype, provides costings, technical drawings and a time line, works through the fabrication and manufacturing phase, provides packaging if required and then delivers or installs the artwork.
