Christian Hall
Christian Hall is an artist and educator and possesses a Masters of Visual Art from Sydney College of the Arts, The University Sydney. He exhibits regularly and has been the recipient of numerous grants, awards and residencies.
Christian’s practice moves from the intimate scale of jewellery to domestic scale lighting and sculptural form. Often combining fine craft skills with industrial technologies his work questions the distinction between the decorative and utilitarian and the literal and ambiguous.
He has a love for “useful” objects that awaken our perception of the world and effortlessly slip between genres of product, artwork, design and craft.
