In Seoul I came across a discarded newsletter on architecture. In it was a clear explanation of the roof as a meeting place between elements. Having worked as an Interior Architect I developed a curiousity in the built environment, this notion struck me with its logic, simplicity and beauty.

I was well into making these cylinderical pieces back home that I began to see the intention in expressing the movement within the space between earth and sky.
