Brings together Indigenous and non Indigenous artists, curators, art centre workers and academics to discuss cross collaborative processes in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) and Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Lands. Presented in partnership with Flinders University Art Museum to coincide with National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June). This event is open to the public. The latest product to hit the shelves is Bowling Arm by Melbourne based designer and recent JamFactory designer in residence Simone LeAmon. Bowling Arm is a set of bangles made with the red and white leather remnants from Australian cricket balls. Each leather ring is different because of the manufacturing process, a combination of the machine and the hand. The rings will stretch to fit all wrist sizes and acquire character from wear. Sample a tantalising assortment of Red Ochre’s delicious locally-sourced foods on a unique, limited edition tasting platter made by JamFactory, and take the platter home with you afterwards to enjoy again and again!
